Important Updates on Insulin Availability in the UK
There have been several supply changes and discontinuations affecting insulin products. If you use any of the following, please speak to your diabetes team or GP about alternatives:
- Admelog (Sanofi) — discontinuing mid‑2026
- Levemir (Novo Nordisk) — phased out by end of 2026
- Humulin vials & Hypurin Porcine vials — discontinued
- NovoRapid PumpCart & Fiasp FlexTouch — experiencing shortages
Alternatives such as Humalog KwikPens, Lantus SoloStar, and Tresiba cartridges are available, but may require device adjustments or closer monitoring.
